The Mellor Collection comprises traditional woven gimps and braids.; Some of these designs have been in existence since the nineteenth century when they were created on original looms by the Mellor Brothers of
Macclesfield. The combination of contemporary and traditional colour ways makes the Mellor Collection suitable for a variety of fabric applications.
The clarity, simplicity and neatness which typify the Edwardian Era are the characteristics of the Edwardian Range of Trimmings. Russia Braid, Corded Trims, Chainette Fringes and Tassel Fringes with delicate drape are particularly suited to lampshades and small home accessories. The colours, too, are simple and clean cut. |
